Kuniyuki : Newwave Project

On Newwave Project, Japanese producer and sound designer Kuniyuki Takahashi reflects his passion for new wave, German electro punk, EBM, and industrial music.

Using a blend of classic synthesizers such as the Roland Jupiter 8, Juno 60, and Korg MS 20, alongside modern instruments like the Roland Aira and modular synthesizers, Kuniyuki crafts atmospheric worlds infused with cosmic spheres, cold war darkness, and tribal jungle vibes. His instrumental skill shines through his use of piano, percussion, and flute, as well as sampled voices of unknown origin.

The album's twelve tracks unite house, techno, funk, and EBM in unconventional yet catchy arrangements – a homage to the past filtered through the present and with an eye toward the future.
